I've been ridiculously busy lately, working on the transmedia production side for upcoming films Topaz Duo : Cosmic Phoenix and Yellow (plug, plug, plug), hence my mini blog absence. However, whilst scouring the deep, dark depths of the internets for synth-toned Arabic percussion as soundtrack inspirations, I came across an old (ya3ne 3'abarah) track by master of Rai, Cheb Khaled - Didi:

Am I crazy or are the first twenty seconds pretty much the inspiration behind - one of my favourite videos and songs of the last two years - MGMT's Electric Feel?
